Trade in Americas increases


The Latin Business Chronicle reports today that U.S.-Latin American trade picked up after a slow beginning to 2007. Brazil replaced Venezuela in the second-largest trade spot, and Paraguay had the largest growth with 35 percent.

U.S. imports are slowing, but trade overall grew by 6.2 percent, according to the Census Bureau information in the article.
